Here is a video list and short description on for all of the current CVA rifles and muzzleloaders
The Accura MR (mountain rifle) Muzzleloader
The ACCURA® MR rifle is one of our “top-of-the-line” muzzleloaders, offfering more features and a higher level of perfomance than any of our other muzzleloading guns – and any of our competitors’ guns.
The ACCURA MR provides a level of accuracy performance that is unequaled by any muzzleloader on the market today – due to its premium, custom quality, Bergara barrel . These Bergara Barrels, all made of the highest quality 416 grade stainless steel, have quickly become recognized as the most accurate production barrels in the world. And while many of the world’s most highly regarded center-fire manufacturers use Bergara barrels on their guns, only CVA offers them in a muzzleloader. It is these Bergara barrels that enable CVA to guarantee our ACCURA series rifles to be the “The Most Accurate Muzzleloader You’ve Ever Shot – Or Your Money Back.”
The Accura V2 Muzzleloader
While the ACCURA V2 and ACCURA MR are each designed to appeal to different shooter tastes — the V2 being full lengh and the MR (Mountain Rifle) being more compact, they both provide just the right combination of balance and maneuverability for their intended purpose. The ACCURA is very simple to operate because the breeching lever is built right into the trigger guard, making the ACCURA one of the easiest opening break-actions on the market, and the entire gun can be disassembled by removing just one screw. And both ACCURA designs sport many of the same features to help you enjoy your hunt — like CVA’s patent pending QRBP “Quick-Release Breech Plug” – the only such breech plug on the market that can be easily removed with your fingers and no tool after the gun has been fired numerous times.
The CVA Apex Rifle and Muzzleloader
The APEX is, quite frankly, the best break-action, multi-barrel interchangeable rifle system on the market today. Just by shouldering the APEX, the serious shooter will notice a vast superiority to its competitors in both balance and fit. But the real test comes with the shooting. And it is in the shooting that two very important features make the APEX really shine. First, every APEX barrel is made by Bergara Barrels, which are among the most accurate production barrels made in the world today. Second, APEX’s ambidextrous buttstock is designed specifically for scope shooting, with a comb height that positions the shooter perfectly in line with the optics. The result is a rifle that shoulders and points as naturally as your favorite shotgun – just like it’s an extension of your body.
The CVA Scout V2 Rifle
The new SCOUT V2 is very similar in design to the APEX centerfire rifle, but without the interchangeable barrel capability. So, for the hunter who wants a high quality single shot rifle in only one caliber, the SCOUT V2 is the ideal choice. Sleek, lightweight, and easy to operate, the SCOUT V2 sets a new standard for affordable single shot hunting rifles. The SCOUT V2 sports a 22” fluted barrel that is constructed of 416 grade stainless steel. The stocks are lightweight and 100% ambidextrous, plus they feature CVA’s CrushZone Recoil pad – a real plus for heavier calibers, like the .35 Whelen. The SCOUT V2 is also available in a “Compact” version (1” shorter stock and 2” shorter barrel) – which makes it perfect as a deer rifle for the smaller stature hunter, or for anyone as an easy to maneuver “truck gun” or “brush gun.” Caliber offerings in the Compact model include .243, 7mm-08, and .35 Remington, while the standard length SCOUT V2s are chambered in .35 Whelen, .35 Remington, .44 Magnum, and .300 Blackout (with a suppressor ready 16.5 inch threaded barrel). All SCOUT V2 rifles feature a genuine DuraSight ®DEAD-ON™ one-piece scope mount as standard equipment.
The CVA Optima V2 Muzzleloader
While the new OPTIMA V2 shares the name of its popular predecessor, the “Version 2” gun has a completely different design in many ways. Modeled after CVA’s top-of-the-line ACCURA V2, the OPTIMA V2 features the same trigger-guard actuated breeching lever, internal parts, and “neutral center-of-gravity” trigger. Add in CVA’s Quick Release Breech Plug (which is finger removable without any tool what-so-ever), 100% ambidextrous stock, and CrushZone recoil pad, and you’ve got a gun with more quality features than any other muzzleloading rifle in its price range. Equipped with a 26” 416 grade stainless steel barrel, the OPTIMA V2 is easy to maneuver in the tree stand and comfortable to carry in the mountains. And it comes standard with a DuraSight® DEAD-ON™ one-piece scope mount and CVA’s solid aluminum PalmSaver Ramrod.
The CVA Wolf Muzzleloader
The newly redesigned WOLF™ has all the features that made the original WOLF the number one selling muzzleloader in the world plus many new features. Still lightweight and easy to maneuver, the new WOLF even comes in a COMPACT version that is just the right length for the youth or small-framed adult, or even for the shooter who just wants a quick-handling gun for brush hunting. The 100% ambidex- trous stocks are available in either black or Realtree® Hardwoods Green camo. The WOLF also features CVAs new QRBP (Quick-Release Breech Plug) the only truly tool-free removal breech plug on the market today. Even after 20 or more shots, the QRBP comes out with just a twist of the fingers try that with any other “speed breech” system. Plus, the break-action breech opens easily with just a touch of the breeching button, which is located in the front of the trigger guard. The WOLFs compact and quick-pointing barrel is made of blued steel and is set up with all-metal DuraSight® fiber optic sights. The new WOLF, its a lot of gun but not a lot of money.
The CVA Buckhorn Muzzleloader
The BUCKHORN 209 Magnum is an ultra-modern conventional in-line, and the heart of this high-tech smokepole is the precision rifled 24” barrel with a 1:28” twist. It’s powered by an extremely hot 209 ignition system and will handle 150 grain magnum charges with ease. And in states where 209 primers are not allowed, the Buckhorn can be easily converted to a #11 or musket cap ignition by simply changing the breech plug and adding the correct nipple. Plus, the BUCKHORN comes standard with a thumb-actuated safety, DuraSight All Metal fiber optic sights, dual-barrel retention points and a Bullet Guiding Muzzle. Another feature that really sets this gun apart from the competition is its radical new stock design. The BUCKHORN’s unique stock features dot grip panels to ensure a comfortable, non-slip grip. Not bad for a rifle that retails for less than two Ben Franklins!
